Mr. Estovio Farrel Timothy, an Indonesian structural engineer, graduated with honors from Bandung Institute of Technology, earning a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (2022, GPA 3.78/4.00) and an M.Sc. in Structural Engineering (2023, GPA 3.88/4.00) through a 4+1 Fast Track Program. Specializing in wind engineering, he developed fragility functions for Indonesia’s first tornado (2023), analyzing 259 structures and establishing wind speed estimates (17.66–75.10 m/s). Timothy led the creation of Indonesia’s first Design Wind Map, integrating ERA5 reanalysis and AWS data, and contributed to revising SNI 1727, aligning it with ASCE 7. His research on an 85-story building using Performance-Based Wind Design (PBWD) reduced reinforcement by 10.92%, saving up to 32.31% in columns. Since 2023, he has worked with Shanghai Construction Group, designing projects like Shenzhen’s 80,000 sqm Snow World, and BI Group, enhancing structures in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Timothy has published multiple manuscripts, presented at HAKI Seminar (2023), and taught advanced structural dynamics globally, achieving 95% satisfaction. At ITB, he supervised 19+ theses and taught 659 students. Recognized as Best Graduate (ITB) and a multi-scholarship recipient, he excels in ETABS, MATLAB, and Python, advancing structural resilience and wind design standards across ASEAN.
